Gallery 2014 is owned and operated by the Sanjuan-Brown Hollywood Arts Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3), not for profit, charitable organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts in Hollywood, Florida and its surrounding communities. Established by Hollywood residents Elizabeth Sanjuan and Ken Brown in 2012, Gallery 2014 and the Foundation focus on support for local, student and emerging global artists; arts education; artist projects; art outreach programs in community agencies; and advancing the general appreciation of and access to visual arts, artists and their work.
Elizabeth and Ken have been long-time supporters of the arts in south Florida through their personal art work, museum board participations, and their donations both through their charitable foundation, Fundación Sanjuan, and as individuals.
Gallery 2014 located at 2014-2016 Harrison Street in downtown Hollywood, Florida, Gallery 2014 provides a forum for new and emerging artists - students, local artists and unknown artists from the remote corners of the globe. Gallery 2014 exhibits quality original art from artists who might ordinarily lack access to public markets. We strive to provide a friendly, open and comfortable atmosphere where residents can have the opportunity to acquire quality original art at reasonable prices, and where hardworking new and undiscovered artists can realize fair value for their work. Our 3,500 open gallery space is available to local charities and other community organizations for their meetings, gatherings and fundraisers.
